I've never been one of those girls who felt that Valentines Day was a holiday that needed to be celebrated. I'm not one for over-the-top romantic gestures, proclamations of love or gushy displays of affection. Listen, my boyfriend doesn't NEED a reason to get me flowers. So, over the past few years the boyfriend and I have celebrated a fun anti-valentines day tradition of going out for a great meal of burgers and fries every 14th of February. Nothing really makes me feel sexier than a tummy stuffed full of red meat and fried potatoes. However, I am never one to turn down a present!!
Like everyone else, I've become obsessed with GIRLS and the bohemian burgundy is the perfect red without being too in-your-face.
As someone whose diet is 95% gluten-free I am constantly looking for ways to substitute various veggies for pasta. Ever tried slicing zucchini into perfectly uniform 1/8th inch slices? No? After several curse words, and quite a bit of unusable zucchini this is next on my must-get kitchen gadgets and look it comes in red!
Catbird, Brooklyns finest kept secret. The most perfect, dainty ring in the cutest shape. Just don't go telling everyone you know mkay, it's a secret for a reason.
However you celebrate Valentines Day, I hope it's filled with love and too much chocolate.
